This detached, single-storey bungalow has three bedrooms, two king-size and one double, along with a shower room and cloakroom. The living areas include a kitchen with breakfast bar for two, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, a utility with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a living/dining room with a table for six and Smart TV. Outside, there is a front garden, a rear garden with furniture, and off-road parking for three cars. Within 0.6 miles, there is a shop, within 0.3, a pub, and within 0.5, Lake Windermere. One well-behaved dog is welcome, however, smoking is not permitted. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Note: Ground-floor living, however there are 3 steps to the entrance and back door. Note: Sorry, fireplace not currently in use. NOTE: This property will not accept bookings of groups (of more than 2 people) whereby everyone is under the age of 25 and Hen and Stag parties are not permitted. Bowness and Windermere offer a variety of attractions, amenities, stores, and restaurants for Lake District National Park tourists. Windermere Lake Cruises at Bowness, Brockhole, Ambleside, and Lakeside offer boat cruises and hire (at the southern end of the lake where the Lakeside Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are situated). 1.5 miles distant are World of Beatrix Potter and Old Laundry. Orrest Head, where Alfred Wainwright was inspired to write his guidebooks, is a 30-minute walk with superb lake and fell views. Brockhole is less than 2 miles away and Grasmere, Ambleside, and Troutbeck are a short drive. Marine centres along the lake provide a variety of watersports. The area is ideal for exploring the region by foot, bike, car, train, or bus, and is close to the Langdales, Beatrix Potter's Hill Top House at Far Sawrey, Coniston, Grizedale Forest Park, with its delightful walks and famous outdoor sculptures, mountain biking, and "Go-Ape" adventure park, Ullswater, Kendal, Keswick, stone circles, Roman forts, and England's highest mountain, Scafell Pike.
