Langdale Lodge

Langdale Lodge is a self-contained lodge resting in Sampford Courtenay near North Tawton in Devon. Hosting one double bedroom in a studio-style layout with an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove, along with a shower room, this property can sleep up to two guests. TO the outside, there is front decking with seating, whilst off-road parking is available for one car. Langdale Lodge is a romantic retreat for a rural escape to Devon. The pretty village of Sampford Courtenay, is just a few miles from Okehampton, known as ‘the gateway to the moor’. The high tors of northern Dartmoor dominate the scenery and provide a splendid backdrop to Okehampton. For miles around, the area is famous for its country pubs that between them provide welcome rest after a day exploring the paths, cycle ways and stunning countryside.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
