Hosting four bedrooms, including a king-size with en-suite bathroom, two king-size doubles, a twin, along with two bathrooms, this property can sleep up to eight guests. There is also a kitchen/diner, utility, a balcony and a sitting room. To the outside is an enclosed courtyard and off-road parking for two cars. Asta Cottage is a splendid base for exploring this coastal region. Four well-behaved pets welcome. Please note there is a 20 GBP per dog supplement per stay. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles. Four minute walk from the beach.

The village of Cresswell sits about four miles to north of Ashington on the North Sea Coast. Cresswell Beach is considered one of the best on the Northumberland coast, offering a largely unspoilt stretch which rarely gets busy. The village offers some basic amenities including a café, a popular ice cream shop and Pele Tower, a historical landmark. Cresswell is part of the coasts and castles cycle route, which includes 85 miles of routes that follow or are situated close to the Northumberland coastline.
Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
