The Barn is a lovely, semi-detached cottage resting in Frosterley, Durham. Hosting three bedrooms, including a ground-floor double, a double and a ground-floor twin, along with a ground-floor bathroom and a shower room, this property can sleep up to six guests. There is also a first-floor open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside there is private parking and an enclosed, rear garden with furniture. The Barn is a well-equipped, pleasant base for a family getaway to the North Pennines.

Frosterley is a quaint village in an area described as England's last wilderness, whilst also within reach of Durham and Newcastle, offering the best of both rural and city escapes. Guests can enjoy two traditional pubs, a convenience store and a village green. Pleasant market towns dot the nearby area with a diversity of landscapes to explore, making Frosterley the perfect base to make the most of your holiday in a fantastic part of England.
