Sunny Bank is a delightful cottage based in the village of Brookhouse in Lancashire. Hosting two bedrooms, including a double and single, along with a shower room, this property can sleep up three people. There is also a kitchen and a living/dining room with woodburning stove. To the outside is a lawned garden with furniture and roadside parking is available on a first come, first served basis. Sunny Bank promises a welcoming base for couples or small families looking to explore Lancashire. Note: The ceiling in the living room and the doorways are very low. The beams are about 5’8” and the ceiling about 6’2”

Brookhouse is an old village once inhabited by the Romans. It has an ancient oak tree by a pub also denotes the history of the place as it was believed to be used by monks to hang the fish they were selling. The place has a range of walking and cycling facilities in the valley of the River Lune. As well as some stunning beauty, Brookhouse has a pub, a Chinese takeaway and a convenience store as well as more amenities and essentials in the neighbouring Caton. The city of Lancaster sits just a short drive away and is most certainly worth a visit, it is completely different to the country life in Brookhouse but offers a range of shops and pubs as well as a stunning castle.
