The living areas include a kitchen housing an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, a utility with dishwasher, washing machine, a sitting room with woodburning stove and a dining room. The bedrooms include a double with en-suite shower, a double and a twin, serviced by a bathroom. To the outside is ample off-road parking, secure bike storage and a patio with furniture. Within 0.8 miles there is a shop and within 0.9 miles there is a pub. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the price. Two well-behaved pets are welcome however smoking is not permitted. Gag Aye Farm is a splendid retreat in the Peak District National Park, whatever time of year.

Longnor, a picturesque Peak District village on the Staffordshire Moorlands/Derbyshire boundary, is a good touring base with the River Dove to the east and the River Manifold to the west. A tavern, a shop, a Post Office, a candy shop, a café tea room, a fish and chip business, and a beautiful church can all be found in the village. A scale of market costs is still posted on a board outside the market hall, and the historic market square is cobbled. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Buxton's famed Opera House, Bakewell's charming market town, and the Alton Towers theme park are all within easy driving distance.

The ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.
