South Lodge is a detached cottage resting in Forres on the grounds of Brodie Castle in Moray. Hosting a double and a twin, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to four guests. There is a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. To the outside, there is a private garden with seating and access to the shared castle grounds, while off-road parking is available. South Lodge is a lovely rustic abode settled among historic grounds on the outskirts of Forres town.

Forres is a small and historic town resting in the Highland's county of Moray, home to a selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, museums, castles, gardens, and the Malt Whisky Trail. Nearby are the attractions of Cawdor and Brodie Castles, Culloden Battlefield and Fort George, as well as Findhorn beach and Califer Hill Viewpoint. Forres is a lovely rural getaway escape for a fantastic holiday.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Note: If you would prefer a gardener did not tend to the garden during your stay, please would you be kind enough to let a member of staff at Brodie Castle know. Note: Logs for the fire are not provided but can be bought at local stores. Note: If you are bringing your dog on holiday, please bring a lead, basket and your dog’s bowls, please note that dogs are not allowed on beds or any of the furniture. You may like to bring an old towel to wipe muddy paws.
