Within 4.2 miles, you'll find a shop, and within 0.3, a pub. Please be aware that this property accepts one small well-behaved dog, but it does not welcome smoking. The ancient community of Norham is most known for Turner's 1845 painting of the magnificent Norman Castle remains above the River Tweed. The village includes a good butcher and bakery, a Post Office, a grocer, a newsagent, and two pubs, one of which has an award-winning restaurant. There are also two fine restaurants in Allanton that are ideal for fishing and shooting groups, as well as the Cross Inn in Paxton.
