Calcott Annexe is a cosy couple's retreat, next to the owner's home, in Little Doward near Whitchurch, within the Wye Valley AONB. The property has one double bedroom, sleeping two guests, as well as a wet room-style bathroom, a kitchen, sitting room with electric fire and a conservatory with dining seating. Outside there is off-road parking secure gates and an enclosed rear patio garden with furniture. Calcott Annexe is a wonderful base for a couple's retreat to the picturesque Wye Valley.

The delightful market town of Whitchurch has many splendid historical buildings, with examples of Medieval, Tudor and Georgian architecture, dominated by St. Alkmund’s Church. Internationally renowned for its clock production, which began in the mid-17th century, Whitchurch is known as "the Home of Tower Clocks". There are many excellent shops, pubs and restaurants to choose from, while Shropshire, North Wales and Cheshire are all within easy reach. Nearby attractions to visit include Ellesmere, numerous National Trust mansions, Chester’s wonderful shops and zoo, Hawkstone Follies, the Ironbridge Gorge museum and lovely medieval architecture and riverside walks of Shrewsbury.

Herefordshire offers visitors the chance to journey through lush green countryside, enjoying splendid black-and-white timbered villages, a magnificent cathedral city, a fairytale Georgian castle at Eastnor or books galore in famous Hay-on-Wye.
