This home has four bedrooms including a lower-ground-floor super-king-size, a double, a single, and a lower-ground-floor single, along with two bathrooms and a shower room. There's also a kitchen/diner, a dining room, a sitting room with an open fire, a second sitting room with woodburning stove and a shared games room. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. For entertainment there is a TV, WiFi, a selection of books, games and DVDs. Outside there is off-road parking, lockable bike storage, a rear, lawned garden, a side with a patio and pond, and a front gravelled area. Guests also have shared use of estate grounds and facilities inc. indoor heated swimming pool, children's play area, and fishing lake. Pet-free and smoke-free. There are many pleasant inns, teashops, guest houses and gift shops in the picturesque village of Hawkshead as well as the Beatrix Potter Gallery. Visitors can wander the series of tiny alleyways, archways and courtyards between the whitewashed 17th century houses. Newby Bridge is ten miles away and offers attractions such as the Aquarium of the Lakes and Windermere Lake Cruises.
