Nestled in the Duddon valley and on the south western edge of the Lake District National Park, the village is the perfect destination for those wanting to discover Cumbria. Visitors can relax in the quaint town square, before savouring a delicious meal at the Black Cock Inn pub and venturing out to explore Coniston Water and the Duddon Mosses.

Shop 7.3 miles, pub 0.1 mile (pub sells basic provisions such as tea, longlife milk, bread, butter & eggs. Note: There are stone steps in the garden, please take care. Note: The staircase is fairly steep and narrows at the top to 58cm (banister protrudes an additional 10cm) and is therefore not suitable for people with mobility issues. Note: Check-in from 5pm and check-out by 10am
