Old Smiddy Cottage is a detached cottage resting in rural Scotland, 7 miles from Haddington and 8 miles Dunbar. With two bedrooms, including a double and zip/link twin, along with a family bathroom, this property can sleep four people. There is also a kitchen/diner and a sitting room, both of which have woodburning stoves. Outside is a large, lawned garden which is fully enclosed, and off road parking for 2 cars. Old Smiddy Cottage is a peaceful base in the South East of Scotland.

The town of Haddington rests in the county of East Lothian in South East Scotland. The town offers a mix of independant shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes and a rich history. Twenty miles from Edinburgh, the town is easily accessible to Scotland's capital, as well as the North Sea coastline including the town of Dunbar, which is just 11 miles away.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
