Field Barn is a charming one-bedroom cottage resting on the outskirts of Alston in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Hosting one ground-floor double bedroom and a ground-floor shower room, along with a first-floor open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a Juliet balcony, sleeping up to two guests. There is ample off-road parking and a garden with lawn and patio. Field Barn is a quaint romantic retreat in the North Pennines.

Settled within the fabulous North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is the delightful town of Alston. Holding the accolade of England's highest market town, it boasts lovely cobbled streets with shops and eateries, and was the filming location for ITV's productions of Jane Eyre and Oliver Twist. Take a trip on the restored diesel engine railway heading through the South Tyne Valley, or enjoy the excellent walking terrain all around.

Open heather moors and peatlands together with beautiful dales and hay meadows sweep across this northernmost section of the Pennine hill range. Discover a range of attractions and a rich heritage.
