Hosting three bedrooms, including a king-size, double and children’s bunk, plus a bathroom, this cottage can sleep up to six people. Outside is an enclosed patio with furniture and roadside parking. Maidens is a fishing village nestled at the southern end of Maidenhead Bay, two miles north of Turnberry and five miles west of Maybole. The village looks out to sea with views of Ailsa Craig and the distant Mull of Kintyre. Holidaymakers can enjoy a long sandy beach and charming harbour, traditionally used for fishing and today used for pleasure boats.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
