This delightful, traditional Welsh cottage, in the south east corner of Anglesey, stands in its own enclosed garden and has fantastic, peaceful views over fields towards the Menai Straits and the mountains. "Dear little Ty Hir, a favourite with many guests. A traditional Welsh Cottage with fantastic views. As one guest said 'Not really a holiday cottage, more a home.'" Ty Hir holiday cottage is situated on a quiet lane which has easy access to plenty of foot paths and cycling routes nearby. The village of Llangoed, which has it's own shop and post office, is a 5-minute walk away. A short drive away is Beaumaris, which is full of interesting places to visit. It has a splendid castle with swans on the moat, a gaol and a great variety of tempting shops, galleries as well as some of the best eating places on Anglesey. You can even walk to Lleiniog beach in approximately 20-30 minutes - the beach has free parking and no dog restrictions.

The village of Llangoed is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the beautiful east corner of the Isle of Anglesey, offering a shop and Post Office. Nearby is the fascinating and attractive town of Beaumaris, boasting a 13th century castle, Georgian and early Victorian houses and shops, a number of excellent tea rooms, restaurants and stylish shops, and a delicatessen. Visit the town’s old courthouse and Victorian gaol, or the pier where you can fish for crabs or catch a boat to see the birds on Puffin Island. From the pier and promenade there are spectacular views across the Menai Straits and Snowdonia. Nearby Penmon Priory, founded in the 6th Century by Saint Seiriol and with its Holy Well and Dovecote, is just a short walk away on the coastal footpath.

Note : Two dogs are welcome at this house, first dog free, second dog charged £20. Large lawned garden with outside furniture. Off road parking. Shop 0.5 miles. Pubs and restaurants 2.6 miles. NOTE: The changeover day in the property will change to Friday in 2024, the weekly changeover day will remain Saturday for 2023.
