Bantam Cottage in Ottery St Mary, Devon sleeps four people in two bedrooms.
Please note: from June until end of September only weekly bookings starting on a Saturday will be accommodated. Bantam Cottage consists of an open-plan living space with a kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, ceramic hob, convection oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and breakfast bar seating two, a dining area with dining seating for four, and a sitting area with Smart TV. Two king-size bedrooms (zip-link can be twin on request). There is a bathroom with bath, shower over, and basin and WC, plus cloakroom. Outside, there is an enclosed rear patio with gravelled area, furniture, and barbecue and designated parking spaces for four cars. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Sorry, no smoking at this property. Guests can find a shop in 0.2 miles and a pub in 0.9 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Ottery St Mary sits beside the River Otter and is well known for its literary connections to the poet Coleridge and for its beautiful church often referred to as a Exeter cathedral lookalike. Ottery St Mary is also famous for its traditional 'Tar Barrels' which attracts more than 3000 visitors on 5th November each year. The area is a walkers’ paradise, with strolls along the banks of the River Otter or hill climbs offering magnificent views as far as Dartmoor.
