Castle Douglas is a country town in the southwest of Scotland, in the Dumfries and Galloway region. Within the bustling town you will find a large selection of independent food shops, as well as a range of pubs and restaurants. From here, you have easy access to the Solway Coast, with its miles of beautiful beaches and scattering of pretty fishing villages. Carlingwark Loch lies just south of the town, which is great for sailing and fishing.
