West Pennard is a small village, lying to the east of Glastonbury and at the foot of Pennard Hill. Within the village you will find a traditional pub, a shop, a small number of businesses and a school. Close by is the larger town of Glastonbury, where you can spend a day visiting the Glastonbury Tor, Glastonbury Abbey and Chalice Well. Also close by are the towns and villages of Shepton Mallet, Bridgwater and Burnham-on-Sea.
