Fauna's Corner is an end-terrace cottage boasting an enviable position, set just behind the famous Esk Valley Viaduct, near the bustling town of Whitby. It boasts two bedrooms; a double and a twin, sleeping four people altogether. The interior also offers a bathroom, kitchen and living/dining room with electric fire. To the outside is off-road parking for three cars and a shared garden to the rear with patio and picnic bench, backing onto a shared children's playground with views of the viaduct. Fauna's Corner offers a refreshing break in a lovely part of England.Note: The swimming pool will be closed from 5th November 2022 and re open 1st April 2023

The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire, with its superb coastline and close proximity to the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

On-site shared indoor heated swimming pool. One well behaved pet allowed. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1 mile, pub 1.2 miles. Note: The shared indoor swimming pool is closed for cleaning for a few hours on a Saturday and is closed from the end of October 2024 until February 2025. Please Note: The Swimming pool has a cost of £20 for the week and £10 for a short break for the household, this is paid on site in the office. Note: There is a height restriction in the bath tub in the bathroom. Note: steep hill on complex. Note: Due to proximity of water, children need to be accompanied by adults.
