Located just moments from the clifftop and seafront, Dolphin Cottage is a great base for a coastal holiday with easy access to the New Forest National Park. The property comprises of three bedrooms, ideal for a small family, with sea glimpses from the front two bedrooms. The bright and airy sitting room leads into a dining room which overlooks the enclosed courtyard garden, where you can relax and enjoy outdoor meals and barbecues, and there is a well-equipped kitchen. Dolphin Cottage provides a cosy and comfortable pet friendly holiday base.

Just a short stroll from the cottage takes you to the clifftops at Barton-on Sea and the coastal path stretching along the edges of The Solent. The far-reaching views showcase The Needles and Isle of Wight in one direction, and Christchurch Bay and Hengistbury Head in the other. A selection of local beaches are within easy travelling distance, and the nearby town of New Milton has all your shopping needs. Just a 10 minute drive and you are in the New Forest National Park amongst the free roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys, with miles of tracks and honeypot villages to explore on foot, bicycle or horseback.

GROUND FLOOR
Front door to entrance hall with stairs to first floor and cloakroom.
Sitting Room with two sofas, a pouffe and bean bag, Smart TV and electric stove.
Dining room with table seating 6 and patio door to rear courtyard garden.
Kitchen with electric cooker and gas hob, fridge with ice box, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and Bosch Tassimo coffee maker.

FIRST FLOOR
Bedroom 1 with 5ft king bed, built-in wardrobe and shower cubicle, wash basin (see photos).
Bedroom 2 with twin beds, one 3ft and one 2ft 6in, built-in wardrobe and desk, sea glimpses.
Bedroom 3 with single 3ft bed and wardrobe, sea glimpses.
Shower room with shower cubicle, wash basin and WC.

Outside:

Accessed from the dining room, the enclosed courtyard garden is bordered with pretty flower beds and has a picnic table, charcoal barbecue and two sun loungers. It is a real suntrap in the summer months!

Parking:

There is on-street parking available outside and in the nearby residential side roads.

Included: Bed linen and towels (Guests must provide their own beach/dog towels), gas central heating.  
Internet and Telephone: Wi-Fi. There is no landline telephone available but mobile reception is generally reasonable, although please check with your provider prior to booking.
Pets: 2 small/medium dogs welcome (less than 15kg) or one large dog. Must be over the age of 1 year old (unless agreed with the owner prior to booking), fully housetrained and well behaved. Pet charge £30 per pet per week. 
Children: Any age welcome. Highchair, travel cot (please bring own cot bedding) and baby bath available on request.
Bicycle Storage: Available uncovered in the courtyard garden. The back gate has a padlock to secure the garden.
EV Charging:  Is not available at this property. 
Short Breaks: Available any time outside of school holidays.
Beaches: Barton on Sea (0.1 miles), Highcliffe (sandy - 2.5 miles), Milford on Sea (3 miles), Avon Beach (sandy – 5 miles).
Local Facilities: The Beachcomber Café (0.3 miles), The Cliff House offering panoramic views of the Solent (0.6 miles), Pebble Beach Restaurant (0.3 miles), Barton on Sea convenience store (0.3 miles). All the amenities of New Milton town (1 mile) including supermarkets, shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, leisure centre and a petrol station.
