Located in the heart of the town, just a stone’s throw from the cobbled Town Quay and waterfront, this three-storey townhouse has glimpses of sailing masts and the water from the front two bedrooms. With stylish furnishings and four individually themed bedrooms, Saddlers Cottage will accommodate up to eight guests, and is dog friendly.


The snug sitting room has a wood burning stove for cosy evenings in, opening onto a sociable kitchen diner, with large family dining table for all to sit around, warmed by the Aga. Upstairs the first floor has two bedrooms with shower room and there are a further two bedrooms and bathroom with slipper bath on the second floor. The south-west facing rear garden captures the summer sunshine, with a large lawn and comfortable seating for outdoor meals and drinks.


The bustling coastal town of Lymington is filled with cobbled streets, quirky shops, and a Georgian High Street with weekly Saturday market. Guests can take a ferry from the marina across to the Isle of Wight and enjoy the breath-taking views back across the pretty town and salt marshes. Just a short stroll or cycle from the property is the start of the coastal path leading along the sea wall to Keyhaven, passing the Lymington Sea Water Baths with giant inflatable course. And for rainy-day activities St Barbe Museum and Art Gallery is a great spot for children and adults alike. There are various beaches within easy reach of the property which offer a great day out, and the open heathland of the New Forest National Park is a short drive or cycle away, with miles of tracks, footpaths and honeypot villages to explore amongst the free-roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys.


Please note: Saddlers Cottage has steep cottage stairs to both floors so might not be suitable for guests with mobility issues or small children.

Front door to entrance hall with stairs to first floor and leading to
Sitting Room with two sofas, two pouffes, Smart TV and wood burning stove.
Kitchen/diner with table seating 8, large gas fired Aga, larder cupboard, cafetiere and Kitchen Aid. Back door to garden.
Through to scullery with dishwasher, American style fridge/freezer with water and ice dispensers, combination microwave, kettle and toaster.
Outside saddlery/outhouse with washing machine and tumble drier.

First Floor
Steps lead to shower room
 with shower cubicle, wash basin and WC. Please be aware of steps down from shower room and stairs directly in front of the shower room door. 
Bedroom 1 (Sea) with river glimpses, 5ft king bed and built-in wardrobes.
Bedroom 2 (Heath) with 4ft 6in double bed and hanging rail.
Stairs from hallway to:
Second Floor
Bedroom 3 (Beach) with river views, 5ft zip & link king size bed which can be configured as a twin (please advise at time of booking) and wardrobe. Reduced head height in this bedroom.
Bedroom 4 (Forest) with 4ft 6in double bed and built-in wardrobe.
Bathroom with slipper bath and hand shower attachment, wash basin, WC and Smart TV.


Outside:


Accessed from the kitchen/dining room the south-west facing rear garden slopes gently up past an outhouse (the former saddlery) to a seating area overlooking the good-sized lawn.

There is on-street parking available in the nearby residential side roads.  
Please note that this property does not have suitable facilities for charging electric vehicles.

Included: Bed linen and towels (Guests must provide their own beach/dog towels), gas central heating.  Welcome basket of logs in the appropriate season.
Reduced Occupancy Discount: Available for 4 guests or less. If used, guests will be entitled to use two bedrooms during their stay which must be specified to us in advance and no later than one week before arrival.
Internet and Telephone: Wi-Fi. There is no landline telephone available but mobile reception is generally reasonable, although please check with your provider prior to booking.
Pets: 1 dog welcome. Must be over the age of 1 year old (unless agreed with the owner prior to booking), fully housetrained and well behaved.
Children: Any age welcome. Highchair and travel cot available on request and stair gates available. Please bring own cot bedding.
Bicycle Storage: Available in the outhouse.
EV Charging is not available at this property. 
Transport links: Lymington Town Train Station is a 6 minute walk (0.3 miles) with trains from central London in under 2 hrs.
Short Breaks: Available from a Friday or Monday. Bookable any time in the low season and 2 weeks before the stay in the mid and high seasons.
Beaches: Milford on Sea 3 miles, Highcliffe (sandy) 9 miles.
Local Facilities: The Kings Head (0.1 miles), The Ship Inn (0.2 miles), The Mayflower (0.5 miles). Fine dining at The Elderflower (0.2 miles), quayside coffee at Coffee & Drift (0.2 miles). All the amenities of Lymington town (0.1 mile) including supermarkets, shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, leisure centre and a petrol station.
