On the doorstep of Lynden is Busketts Lawn, home to ponies, donkeys, deer and native wildlife. A meandering river, Bartley Water, is the backdrop to a peaceful walk through the ancient woodlands. Families and nature lovers can explore all this close by or adventure further afield through miles of forest trails. Ashurst, with a direct rail link to London and a choice of local cafes and pubs, is only a mile away. Or head 10 minutes by car to Lyndhurst, the capital of the New Forest, which is well-served with boutique shops, café’s, pubs and restaurants. Other local attractions include the New Forest Wildlife Park, Longdown Activity Farm, Exbury Gardens and steam railway, Paultons Park with Peppa Pig World and the beaches of the south coast.
