Situated in the small hamlet of Bank overlooking open forest, Alum Green View is the perfect bolt hole for a couple or small family looking for a peaceful holiday location. This stylish, inviting cottage has recently been refurbished to provide contemporary living throughout.  A cosy lounge with wood burning stove overlooks the open forest where deer and ponies will regularly be seen in the clearing. The spacious kitchen/diner has bi-fold doors opening onto the patio of the attractive rear garden. Upstairs two comfortable bedrooms and a refitted family bathroom complete the accommodation. The master bedroom to the front has the most glorious views over open Forest right from the bed!

A fantastic village pub - The Oak Inn - is a short walk away, offering dining and drink options. Within 1.5 miles you will find the popular village of Lyndhurst with many independent shops, pubs, restaurants, café’s and the New Forest Centre which gives a unique guide into the forest history and heritage.

Alum Green View provides the perfect base for walkers and cyclists to explore the area with access to stunning walks and cycle rides direct from the cottage.  The pretty villages of Beaulieu and Brockenhurst are a short drive away as are the popular attractions of Paultons Park with Peppa Pig World and Beaulieu Motor Museum.

Accomodation:

Entrance into small lobby.
Cosy lounge with comfortable seating, wood burning stove, Smart TV with Netflix and views over the open Forest.
Newly refitted kitchen/diner with electric hob, electric integrated oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer.  Dining area with table seating 6 and bi-fold doors to garden.  
Cloakroom with hand basin & WC and door through into Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Steep cottage stairs to first floor.
Bedroom 1 with double bed, built-in wardrobe, drawers. Views over the Forest from the bed.
Bedroom 2 with zip and link beds which can be made up as a king (5ft) or two single beds (2ft 6in). Please advise preferred configuration at time of booking.  
Bathroom with bath, walk in shower, hand basin and WC.

Outside:

Fully enclosed private garden with lawn bordered by colourful shrubs, patio and garden furniture. The attractive garden is the perfect place to relax and unwind, and an outdoor dining set allows for al fresco dining.  

Parking:

On quiet roadside in front of the cottage. Parking is at your own risk; as we are within the New Forest National Park, animals do roam freely.

Additional: 

Included Bed linen, towels (please bring own beach towels), WiFi, central heating (oil), and electricity. Welcome basket of logs in the appropriate season.
Children All ages welcome although no baby equipment provided.
Pets One well behaved dog welcome. Must be over the age of one year old (unless agreed with the owner prior to booking). Dogs must be fully housetrained, well behaved and kept downstairs and off the furniture. Please note a £30 pet charge per dog per week applies.
