Open to the living and dining space, the kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and integrated grill, induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, wine cooler and dishwasher. Smaller appliances include a Nespresso pod coffee machine, kettle and toaster

Outside Space One (Lower Ground Floor)
One of the property's most remarkable features is its connection to the beach. A wrought iron spiral staircase descends from the lower ground floor to the rocks below. Please note that the steps are steep and may get slippery in the wet. The final section does not have a handrail
Outside Space Two (First Floor)
With one of the best positions in St Ives, the property has a large sea-facing balcony/terrace with plenty of space for outdoor dining and relaxing. Looking directly over Bamaluz Beach and the bay beyond, it catches the sun throughout the day and provides a wonderful place to sit with a morning coffee or evening drink. String lights overhead add a magical touch to evenings spent together, chatting and watching the sun set
Parking
Mermaids offers two parking spaces at the St Ives Rugby Club. Guests may pull up to offload their luggage outside the property before making their way to the car park (a 7 minute drive or 30 minute walk from the property)
A bus service runs at peak times from the Rugby Club to town, or you may opt to pre book with a taxi service like A1 Cars who will take you back to the cottage
Guests may be able to personally arrange additional parking at the Rugby Club, or find parking in one of the nearby local long stay car parks like the Island Car Park which is a minute’s walk from the property. Please note that this car park is very popular so space availability is limited during the busier months. There are several other long stay car parks in the area
Pet Information
If you are bringing your dog along with you, please ensure that you pick up mess after them and don’t allow them on the beds and furniture. It’s worth bringing a few blankets and all of their bits and bobs to make sure they’re settled. We also ask that dogs are not left unaccompanied in the property at any time.

Dogs: 1 dog permitted. Please advise the Luxury Coastal team directly if you would like us to host your dog after completing your booking. A charge of £40 per dog per stay/week will be applicable and required before your stay. We will arrange and invoice with you directly upon booking confirmation.
Linen & Towels: Bed linen and towels are provided. You will need to bring you own beach towels (and travel cot linen if required).
Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the property.
