Resting right above Bamaluz Beach with a fabulous terrace offering wide views over the bay, this exceptional contemporary coastal home is the ultimate St Ives retreat.

This property is accessed via 12 external steps and has two internal staircases



Living Room

The living area is on the first floor and has a large sofa and two armchairs, a huge Smart TV with Freeview and a Bluetooth speaker



Dining Area

Also on the first floor and open to the living room, the dining area has a spacious table with ten chairs, making it ideal for gathering over breakfast before heading to the beach or sharing supper at the end of the day. Doors open to the furnished terrace where stunning sea views are displayed



Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven with integrated grill, induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Smaller appliances include a kettle, toaster and Nespresso pod coffee machine, while a wine cooler is a welcome addition for longer stays.



Utility

A utility cupboard off the hallway houses a washer / dryer. An iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner are also provided



Bedroom One

Sea view room located on the first floor, Bedroom One is furnished with a king size bed, bedside tables and lamps, a standalone wardrobe with additional storage drawers beneath the wardrobe. The room also has a Smart TV with Freeview and an en-suite bathroom



Bedroom Two

Downalong view room located on the first floor, Bedroom Two is furnished with a king size bed, bedside tables and lamps, a mirror, a standalone wardrobe with additional storage drawers beneath the wardrobe. The room also has an en-suite bathroom



Bedroom Three

Located on the second floor with views over the Downalong, towards the harbour, and across the sea. This room is en-suite and is furnished with a king size bed, bedside tables and lamps, an integrated wardrobe, mirror and hairdryer. A bench seat positioned at the window, showcases the sea views

Bathroom One

En-suite to Bedroom One, this bathroom is fitted with a double shower, wash hand basin, WC, heated towel rail, cabinet and mirror

Outside

With one of the best positions in St Ives, the property has a large sea-facing balcony/terrace with plenty of space for outdoor dining and relaxing. Looking directly over Bamaluz Beach and the bay beyond, it catches the sun throughout the day and provides a wonderful place to sit with a morning coffee or evening drink. String lights overhead add a magical touch to evenings spent together, chatting and watching the sun set



Parking

Guests may pull up to offload their luggage outside the property before making their way to a private parking space at St Ives Rugby Club (a 7 minute drive or 30 minute walk from the property)

A bus service runs at peak times from the Rugby Club to town, or you may opt to pre book with a taxi service like A1 Cars who will take you back to the cottage

Please note Mermaids 3 offers one allocated Rugby Club parking space only. Guests may be able to personally arrange additional parking at the Rugby Club, or find parking in one of the nearby local long stay car parks like the Island Car Park which is a minute’s walk from the property. Please note that this car park is very popular so space availability is limited during the busier months

There are several other long stay car parks in the area

Pet Information

If you are bringing your dog along with you, please ensure that you pick up mess after them and don’t allow them on the beds and furniture. It’s worth bringing a few blankets and all of their bits and bobs to make sure they’re settled. We also ask that dogs are not left unaccompanied in the property at any time.

Additional Information

Pets: 1 dog permitted. Please advise the Luxury Coastal team directly if you would like us to host your dog after completing your booking. A charge of £40 per dog per stay/week will be applicable and required before your stay. We will arrange and invoice with you directly upon booking confirmation.



Linen & Towels: Bed linen and towels are provided. You will need to bring you own beach towels (and travel cot linen if required).



Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the property.
