Open to the living and dining space, the kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and integrated grill, induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, wine cooler and dishwasher. Smaller appliances include a Nespresso pod coffee machine, kettle and toaster, while an iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner are also provided

Positioned alongside the kitchen and sitting room, the dining area seats four guests and takes in wonderful sea views across the bay

Located on the lower ground floor, Bedroom One has exceptional up-close sea views. Furnished with a king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, a standalone wardrobe, mirror and hairdryer, the deep window reveal creates a wonderful place to sit and watch the water below. The room also has an en-suite bathroom and access to the beach

Situated on the ground floor, Bedroom Two is furnished with a king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, a standalone wardrobe, mirror and hairdryer. This room has a Smart TV with Freeview

En-suite to Bedroom One this spacious bathroom has a bath with shower over, hand basin, heated towel rail, pedestal cabinet and mirror
Bathroom Two
The ground-floor bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower, hand basin, WC, heated towel rail, cabinet and mirror
Outside
One of the property's most remarkable features is its connection to the beach. A wrought iron spiral staircase descends from the lower ground floor to the rocks below. Please note that the steps are steep and may get slippery in the wet. The final section does not have a handrail
Parking
Guests may pull up to offload their luggage outside the property before making their way to a private parking space at St Ives Rugby Club (a 7 minute drive or 30 minute walk from the property)
A bus service runs at peak times from the Rugby Club to town, or you may opt to pre book with a taxi service like A1 Cars who will take you back to the cottage
Please note Mermaids 2 offers one allocated Rugby Club parking space only. Guests may be able to personally arrange additional parking at the Rugby Club, or find parking in one of the nearby local long stay car parks like the Island Car Park which is a minute’s walk from the property. Please note that this car park is very popular so space availability is limited during the busier months
There are several other long stay car parks in the area
Pet Information
If you are bringing your dog along with you, please ensure that you pick up mess after them and don’t allow them on the beds and furniture. It’s worth bringing a few blankets and all of their bits and bobs to make sure they’re settled. We also ask that dogs are not left unaccompanied in the property at any time.

Additional Information
Pets: 1 dog permitted. Please advise the Luxury Coastal team directly if you would like us to host your dog after completing your booking. A charge of £40 per pet per stay/week will be applicable and required before your stay. We will arrange and invoice with you directly upon booking confirmation.
Linen & Towels: Bed linen and towels are provided. You will need to bring you own beach towels (and travel cot linen if required).
Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the property.
