A fantastic holiday retreat for families and friends; this spacious property is set in a peaceful farm location, offering an ideal base for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts hoping to explore the Lancashire and Cumbria countryside. The magical Arnside and Silverdale National Landscape features limestone hills, ancient woodlands and rich meadows, with a wealth of wildlife to spot. Popular destinations including Lakeland Wildlife Oasis, Fell End Nature Reserve, RSPB Leighton Moss, and Gait Barrows National Nature Reserve are all within 2 miles of the property. Travelling to the coast, the village of Arnside (3 miles) has a lovely beach, historic pier and choice of places to eat and drink. Heading further afield, guests can also explore the southern reaches of the Lake District (9 miles) and the western fringes of the Yorkshire Dales (12 miles). Entering this beautifully decorated farmhouse, step through to the snug and cosy lounge which feature a Smart TV, comfortable seating and a wood burner set in a stone surround – providing an ideal space for movie nights. Exploring further, the dining room is a fantastic space to gather for a family meal, which you can cook in the well-equipped, country-style kitchen. The ground floor also has a cloak room and WC for extra convenience. After each day of adventure, climb the cottage stairs to the first floor where three fresh bedrooms await: two super-king-size rooms that convert to twins on request, and a cosy twin bedroom. Serving the bedrooms and completing the interior is an elegant family bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower and WC. Outside, the rear patio provides a lovely spot for breakfast, while to the front there’s a charming garden with glorious views and further seating with a BBQ, chiminea and fire pit. Guests will also have shared access to The Orchard – a 2.5-acre, enclosed field with a children’s play area and space for dogs to run freely. Ample private parking can be found to the front of the property, kept secure behind a wooden gate.
