Offering superb holiday accommodation for up to 12 guests, this stunning reverse-level property is ideally positioned for walkers, anglers, golfers and history buffs discovering a glorious part of the Perthshire countryside. The house lies close to the shores of the Tay, perfect for salmon fishing or sunbathing along the splendid Tay Stanley sandy beach. Stanley is a thriving village with a choice of great places to eat and drink. Heading south, the historic city of Perth (9.5 miles) is known for major landmarks and attractions including the magnificent Scone Palace, the popular Perth Racecourse, the tranquil Branklyn Garden and the famous Perth Museum – home to the Stone of Destiny. For golfers, the area has choice of fantastic courses, including those at Blairgowrie, Dunkeld and Gleneagles, all within 25 miles. Other local landmarks include the Ranageig Stone Circle, Kinclaven Bluebell Woods and Dunsinane Hill Fort, all within 18 miles. External steps lead up to the first floor of this stunning reverse-level retreat where you will be greeted by a welcoming hallway with plenty of space for leaving coats and shoes. On this level you will find the spacious, light-filled lounge with sumptuous seating, a Smart TV and a wood burner. Exploring further, there’s a handsomely designed dining room and a fantastic kitchen with a wealth of equipment as well as a central island and a handy seating area. As well as all this, the upper floor features a games room with a pool table, Smart TV and wood burner-effect electric fire, alongside a tranquil, light-filled sun room. Upstairs there is an elegant bathroom and four pretty bedrooms: two cosy twin rooms, which can be made up as king-size on request, and two super-king-size rooms – one with a French door opening out onto a charming balcony – with en-suite shower rooms. Two further bedrooms are downstairs where you will have a choice between a super-king-size and a king-size bedroom, both with en-suite shower rooms. The king-size can be made up as a twin on request. The utility room, with a washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge/freezer, is also downstairs. Heading outside, the beautiful, landscaped gardens offer a serene haven, with multiple seating areas including a spacious terraced balcony. With ample outdoor furniture, a BBQ, fire pit and a useful outdoor mixer shower, the garden also features a hot tub with mood lighting and Bluetooth speakers, providing a luxurious spot to relax and take in the surrounding views. Private off-road parking is available for six cars along the driveway. Please note, increased accessibility is available via a stone path with ramps entering the house via the sunroom. There’s also an unfenced pond – please keep pets and children supervised.
