Join friends and family for a relaxing break in this fabulous period property that sleeps seven in the Scottish Borders. Set in the small hamlet of Priesthaugh, with mile upon mile of countryside trails and forest tracks to explore directly from the front door. The detached stone cottage is reached via a long, unmade track. Inside, the property has a sociable, open-plan layout and is decorated in a contemporary style, with a charming collection of colourful soft furnishings and accessories adding a homely touch. Enter into the hall, where you can store all your outdoor attire. From here, head through to the vast lounge/diner where large windows flood the space with natural light. Relax on the comfortable sofas and put a classic movie on the Smart TV. At the far end of the room, with views across the garden, is a large, wooden dining table for sharing mealtimes. The separate kitchen is an equally impressive space with a breakfast bar for informal dining. Just off the kitchen is a walk-in pantry and a handy utility room. There is also a delightful double bedroom with French doors leading out to the garden on this floor, which has the use of a separate shower room. Completing the ground floor is a sunny conservatory. Upstairs, choose from a king-size bedroom with a gorgeous en-suite bathroom featuring his-and-hers sinks, a double bedroom with a Juliet balcony, or a cosy single. Rounding off this floor is a stylish shower room. Please note that the first-floor rooms are set in the eaves, and you may experience restricted head height in some areas.
