This luxurious holiday home enjoys a peaceful setting on the edge of Appledore in North Devon. The spacious, pet-friendly property welcomes ten guests and is the perfect base for a large, family get-together or a holiday with friends. The property is just 300 metres from the heart of the village, where you’ll find traditional pubs and cute cafes. Enjoy family days out to The Big Sheep (4 miles) or The Milky Way Adventure Park (11 miles), or perhaps join a wildlife watching excursion to Lundy Island. The stunning coastal retreat has a reverse-level layout and is decorated in a contemporary style, with neutral paintwork, wooden floorboards, and plush furniture. A beautiful collection of artwork and accessories create a home-away-from-home vibe. On the ground floor, you’ll find four gorgeous bedrooms, two of which have en-suite shower rooms. The king-size bedroom also benefits from direct access to the patio area and hot tub. There’s a stylish family shower room on this level, as well as a handy utility area. From the ground floor, you’ll have access to the games room in the garage. Upstairs, an impressive, open-plan living space awaits, with large windows allowing glimpses of the river, and a roaring wood burner. Relax here on the comfortable seating as you catch up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. Rustle up hearty meals for the group in the kitchen area, which you can share at the breakfast bar or around the dining table. In summer months, open the French doors to the balcony for indoor/outdoor living. A super-king-size bedroom with an en-suite wet room completes this floor. Along with the balcony, which has sun loungers and river views, the property also has a patio area at the front of the house with outdoor seating and a sauna and hot tub. To the rear, discover an attractive, enclosed garden with extensive lawns, a summerhouse, and a patio area with a BBQ for outdoor entertaining. Private parking is available on the driveway for five cars. Appledore is a colourful fishing village with cobbled streets and quaint cottages. Potter around the cute boutiques and galleries, before popping into a cosy pub or cute tearoom to refuel. The South West Coast Path passes through the village, offering excellent walking opportunities, and you’ll also be close to some wonderful beaches, such as Westward Ho! (3 miles) and Instow (5 miles). The bustling town of Bideford is 3.5 miles away, with its vibrant quayside, independent shops, and regular markets.
