This character cottage which is over 450 years old, with its low ceilings and quirky features was completely refurbished in 2018, sitting in a picturesque position with far-reaching views across open farmland to the sea. You will often be able to enjoy seeing livestock on the adjoining fields. The owners aim to ensure you have the best stay possible, without any intrusion. On request, they are very willing for you to meet their animals and see the garden. The property is situated on the outskirts of Stratton on the A3072 with easy access to both Cornwall and Devon. Sitting just three miles from Bude with its sandy beaches, sea lock, canal, restaurants and pubs, independent shops, surf schools, and much, much more. It is close to a variety of lovely locations including Tintagel, Padstow, The Eden Project, Boscastle, Clovelly and Hartland. There are many popular attractions nearby including animal sanctuaries, adventure centres, heritage sites and leisure activities. Stepping into the property you are immediately greeted by a warm and comfortable open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Sit and relax in front of the wood burner and watch a film on the Smart TV, or listen to your favourite tunes via the Bluetooth speaker. You will find everything needed in the kitchen to whip up a meal or a light snack with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Enjoy a decadent breakfast or a simple supper!
