Spend a break at this delightful retreat set within the vast Cranborne Chase National Landscape. This pleasant home from home welcomes four guests and two dogs, where you can kick back in the evenings and dine alfresco in the colourful garden or sip on a morning coffee in the sunny garden room. From the outside, this unassuming cottage sits amidst the picturesque countryside. Heading inside, you will be greeted by a bright dining area which has an exposed stone wall and wooden furnishings. Beyond this is a kitchen which has all the amenities you need to create culinary delights, including a Range oven and a handy dishwasher. The living room has comfortable sofas and a Smart TV so you can chill together or watch a film on an evening. Completing the ground floor is a utility room and a WC. Climb the stairs to the first floor and find the two welcoming bedrooms. One contains a king-size zip-and-link-bed that converts to a twin on request, and the other has a double bed. Adjacent to the two bedrooms is a stylish family shower room. Whatever the time of day, head into the enclosed garden and dine alfresco using the patio furniture. The garden is shared with the owner, though you will have your own private area as well as access to the furnished garden room at the end of the decking. Private parking is available for one car outside the property. Adventure through the undulating Dorset countryside from this delightful and tranquil spot. The Georgian town of Blandford Forum is located 5 miles away and has an eclectic mix of shops and restaurants for you to peruse. If you fancy a day at the coast, head to picturesque Lulworth Cove (19 miles) or the beautiful golden shores of Weymouth (23 miles).
