Pack your hiking boots and explore the lakes of Bassenthwaite, Buttermere, Crummock and Loweswater, all within an 11-mile radius. Wildlife enthusiasts will enjoy a trip to Lake District Wildlife Park (7 miles) whilst thrill seekers will love Whinlatter Forest (7 miles) where you can Go Ape or hire bikes to explore the forest trails. The popular market town of Keswick is only 14 miles where you can hire a boat or take a cruise on Derwentwater to enjoy the stunning scenery of the fells.
