Join friends and family in this stylish South Devon cottage on the outskirts of Totnes. The property has a sociable, open-plan layout and a delightful cottage garden for outdoor entertaining. There are some fantastic local attractions within easy reach, including Paignton Zoo, the National Trust’s Greenway House, and the Dartmouth Steam Railway (all within 10 miles). The home-away-from-home has been beautifully styled, featuring statement furniture, bold fabrics, and vibrant paintwork. Enter the hallway, where you can store outdoor attire, and wander through to the open-plan lounge/diner. This bright and airy space has a fabulous wooden dining table for sharing mealtimes together, and a sumptuous L-shaped sofa positioned in front of a Smart TV. To the rear of the cottage is a colourful kitchen with all the equipment needed for a self-catering holiday. Cottage-style stairs lead to the two stylish bedrooms, with elegant wooden floorboards and pops of colour in the accessories and soft furnishings. A family shower room completes the accommodation. Outside, the enclosed, gravelled garden is a real suntrap, with furniture for al fresco dining, along with a BBQ and firepit. Head into the centre of Totnes (0.5 miles) to potter around the independent boutiques, galleries, and gift shops. The town has a good range of eateries, many of which enjoy fabulous views across the river. Hop on a boat trip to visit the picturesque town of Dartmouth, or stride out along the stunning Dart Valley Trail, which follows the path of the River Dart. For a traditional day at the seaside, journey to Paignton (5 miles) with its pier, amusement arcades, and sandy beach.
