Oban (15 miles), for example, is known for its distillery, seafood, and the McCaig's Tower. Kilmartin Museum is based in the middle of over 800 archaeological sites, many of which you can visit, including standing stones, stone circles, and rock art. Sometimes, the best thing to do is simply relax. Enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings, read a book, or have a picnic by the water.
