Enter the glass doors into a welcoming open-plan living area, complete with a comfy sofa, footstool, and TV with Sky channels. The decor blends contemporary facilities with original features such as ceiling beams and atmospheric vaulted ceilings. There’s so much to do nearby, whether that’s admiring the popular Aira Force waterfalls (4.5 miles) part of the Ullswater Way, or climbing the majestic Helvellyn, England's third-highest peak (7 miles). The friendly village of Pooley Bridge (3 miles) is well worth a visit, with its cafés, shops and tourist information centre. If you’re lucky, you may even be able to enjoy a day’s skiing (15 miles).
