You can walk from your front door to picturesque fells and discover lakeside walks. Keswick holds an annual Mountain Festival which features outstanding sporting events, speakers and live music. This is the perfect base to get out and explore the Northern Lakes. There is a great selection of fells and Wainwrights to tackle in the local area. Whinlatter Forest, with its fantastic bike tracks and walks, is less than 5 miles away. You can also hop on an open-top bus and take in a day tour of the Lakes hopping on and off at your leisure.
