Set on a working farm within fabulous countryside, it’s close to hill and moorland walks, the city of York and a choice of excellent places to eat – offering families or groups of friends a host of enticing holiday activities. Kick your boots off in the hallway and head into the open-plan living space of this fabulous holiday escape. Here you’ll discover high ceilings with impressive wooden beams and plenty of light flooding through the sliding glass doors. For music lovers there’s a Bluetooth speaker, while movie fans can stream a favourite film on the Smart TV. The wood burner offers additional warmth on cooler evenings. In the kitchen you’ll find everything necessary for streamlined culinary activities – including a microwave and dishwasher. There’s a washing machine in the utility room, too. At bedtime, head to the first floor and its three bedrooms, all of which include ample storage space, a Smart TV and useful USB power sockets. One of the two super-king-size rooms has an en-suite shower, and the other can be converted to a twin on request. On this level you’ll also find the family bathroom. Located in the Vale of York, Tollerton is a timeless rural village with a local store and a traditional pub with a beer garden. Lovely walking trails are all around, and the Howardian Hills are just 14 miles away. Head to York, 10 miles, to experience the boutique shops and historic attractions of this fascinating walled city, or Harrogate, 20.5 miles, for a great day out in the Victorian spa town.
