Sleeping seven people across four bedrooms, it’s the perfect accommodation choice for large families or groups of friends who want to celebrate a special occasion in a characterful barn conversion in Northumberland together. Kick off your day with a sunrise walk at Low Newton Beach. In the evening, come home to BBQ an al fresco dinner in the pretty garden before you head off to the friendly village pub for a pint. Step inside and you’ll be greeted by one of the cottage’s two spacious lounges. This lounge is a heated conservatory-style space that boasts wonderful garden views. Take a moment to watch the birds in the garden before you make your way to the open-plan farmhouse-style kitchen area, which has pretty, exposed beams. Whip up some dinner to enjoy with your loved ones around the wooden dining table. Alternatively, head to the rear garden – its original stone walls are a nice detail – fire up the BBQ and enjoy an al fresco dinner. After dinner, head to the second lounge upstairs and lose yourself in a good book in front of a glowing wood burner. This lounge boasts some lovely country views and a very cosy atmosphere. There are four welcoming bedrooms to choose from – two king-size (one ground floor, one first floor) with garden views from their dual aspect windows, as well as one first-floor twin and one first-floor single. The single has a day bed thats suitable for a child, as well as a toy cupboard, which makes this a lovely space for the kids to enjoy a little time away from the adults. Completing the layout, you’ll find a handy shower room on the ground floor and a family bathroom comprising a bath with a shower attachment on the first floor. Pack up a picnic and head to the pristine Bamburgh Beach (7.5 miles). Take a dip in the North Sea or simply go for a stroll and soak up the stunning views of Bamburgh Castle.
