The surrounding area boasts breath-taking valley views, expansive moorlands, and peaceful forests. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the numerous activities available, including walking routes along the Weardale Way, off-road cycling, birdwatching, horse riding, fishing, and even stargazing in this remarkable landscape. The area offers attractions such as High Force Waterfall (9.5 miles), Burnhope Reservoir (1 mile), and Killhope Lead Mining Museum (3.5 miles). This spacious holiday home accommodates eight people and welcomes up to four dogs, making it ideal for multi-generational family gatherings. The property features two welcoming lounges, each with its own character and comfort. The first lounge/diner offers a comfortable sofa, Smart TV, and a cosy wood burner set within a stone fireplace, alongside a large dining table with seating for eight. Upstairs, four generously sized bedrooms await, each with en-suite shower and WC - two super king-size bedrooms (one with TV) and two twin bedrooms. The rear of this friendly accommodation features a small patio area with bistro-style table and seating, providing a pleasant outdoor space to enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks. Off-road parking is available for one car at the rear of the cottage, with additional on-street parking nearby.
