Treat your loved ones to a holiday in Northumberland. You’ll be in a modern, detached property on a working farm with an on-site brewery. Upon entering the cottage you’ll find an airy lounge with a wood burner, which makes a lovely spot to warm your toes and paws. You can plug into the Bluetooth speaker for music, radio and podcasts as you relax. Continue to the bright kitchen/diner. There’s everything you’ll need for tasty meals, plus a coffee machine for extra treats. To one side you’ll see a door to the garden for a little fresh air. The ground floor is finished with a laundry room/WC. Head upstairs for a twin bedroom and a king-size with an en-suite shower room. You’ll also have a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Outside, there’s a large lawned garden, enclosed by a wooden fence. You can store your bikes and other outdoor equipment in the secure shed. You’ll be on a working farm with a brewery, so make sure you try a local tipple!

The property is nearly a mile outside Guyzance, a rural village with a winding river. There’s lots of history around, as well as woods and places to hike with your dog. For the bustle of a larger town, try Morpeth, 5 miles away, which has plenty of family-friendly activities, plus shops and eateries. If you fancy a coastal excursion, try Hauxley Nature Reserve, 6.5 miles away, where you can see wildlife and gorgeous beaches.
