Head out to explore some of Shropshire’s charming market towns with Cleobury Mortimer (3.5 miles), Bridgnorth (16 miles) and Ludlow (15 miles) all within easy reach. The house is perfect for a golfing weekend with the idyllic Cleobury Golf Club just 3 miles from the property, which has a popular bar and restaurant that is open to the public all year round. For keen walkers and cyclists, visit the nearby Wyre Forest (3.5 miles), which has plenty of trails to choose from and a GoApe Treetop Adventure course which is great for all ages. This fantastic property offers flexible accommodation that will suit families and friends celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for somewhere to get together in a lovely setting. Make your way into the spacious downstairs of the property where you have two large lounges, both with wood burners and Smart TVs, ideal for gathering for a sports match or relaxing with a glass of wine and a good book. There is a fully equipped farmhouse-style kitchen with everything you need to host a celebratory meal or even have a private catering team come in and look after you. Dine together in the beautiful dining room with a custom-made dining table that can seat up to 26 guests. Enjoy some peace and quiet in the conservatory with comfortable seating and lovely views across the large gardens and across to the Shropshire Hills beyond. Get competitive in the games room with table tennis and a pool table, great for all ages. Also, downstairs you will find one of the family-style bedrooms with a king-size bed and single bed with an en-suite shower room and toilet. A WC in the hall is available for all. The house also has a second entrance which leads into the utility room which can be used when returning from walks and with the dogs. Here, you can remove muddy boots and coats before venturing into the other areas of the property. Head upstairs where you find all the other spacious bedrooms along with en-suite facilities, except for the twin and single bedrooms which share a Jack and Jill shower room. Enjoy exploring the different bedrooms which are accessed through separate landings before setting on your own personal room allocations. The house is much larger than it looks and you will not feel cramped for space. The children will love exploring the maze of rooms. For those who want some privacy there is a large room with its own lounge area which allow just that small amount of downtime from the family. The grounds that surround the property offer extensive views across rural Shropshire with lots of space for families and friends to enjoy. The property, which is part of the owner’s wider estate, has private use of a lake for kayaking and fishing along with multiple seating areas. Kayaks must be hired in advance and please bring your own fishing tackle. Enjoy a family BBQ on the large patio area next to the house with picnic benches for seating. There is play equipment for the children to use along with some garden games and balls for a family game of football. Relax in this serene setting where you will see an abundance of wildlife roaming the grounds. A huge firepit is available for guests who wish to hire it, available to book in advance. For younger children, there is a climbing frame and slide within the fenced garden. The private driveway has ample parking for cars and there is a separate lockable storage for bikes.
