Situated in Bideford, and just under a mile from the port, sits this lovely three-bedroom property. Overlooking a river, this is a good choice for a family wanting bike rides along the Tarka Trail, and easy access to the quayside, shops, and restaurants. Simple, fresh tones sweep through the interior adding to the property’s sense of tranquillity. Flooded by natural light, the lounge is a comfortable space to sit and chat about your day’s adventures or unwind with some music or a good book. Alternatively, curl up on the sofa with a film on the TV or if the weather is good, open the French doors and let the outside in. When it’s time to eat, you’ll find plenty of appliances in the separate kitchen and a neat table with seating for four people. As the day draws to an end, head upstairs to the three bedrooms and choose between a lovely king-size, double, and single bedroom. At the quayside, book a family boat trip out to Lundy Island and spend the day spotting seals and puffins or if you want to feel the sand between your toes, head to Westward Ho! (2 miles). Here you can swim in the sea or try your hand at surfing or kitesurfing.
