The property itself is part of a Georgian manor house that’s over 200 years old, surrounded by 3 acres of mature gardens with a fishing lake on-site. Made for family or friends, eight guests and two dogs are welcome to spend quality time together in between endless adventures in the English countryside and across the border into stunning Mid Wales (16 miles). Maintained with handsome features and decadent finishing touches, discover the wow factor across both storeys of this fantastic house. The country-style kitchen with a large farmhouse dining table set in the middle makes a great central hub for all kinds of family happenings including mealtimes and board game evenings. There’s a cosy lounge next door equipped with an open fire, a Smart TV and an abundance of soft seating, along with access to the delightful, private terrace area that gives way to the large garden, shared with other properties. Back indoors, four fantastic bedrooms are laid out on the first floor. One of the bedrooms, a lovely double, is accessed through a queen-size bedroom, ideal for families staying together. A local hive of activity, Ludlow is 5 miles away with an ancient castle, the River Teme running through and plenty of independently run pubs and cafes. Part of the surrounding Shropshire Hills, the property sits within easy reach of the popular Cleehill (5 miles), a summit offering an easy circular route to the top with mighty views to admire. Move towards the England-Wales border to find a further hiking route, the ever-loved Offa’s Dyke Path with a route that weaves through the town of Knighton (21 miles).
