After supper you can all sit back and relax in the elegant lounge, where the wood burner creates a flickering glow in the winter and there’s a Smart TV in case you want to stream a favourite show. At bedtime, there’s a super-king-size bedroom (twin on request), which has use of the downstairs wet room. On the first floor you’ll find two double bedrooms, each with en-suites and lovely views. Garden lovers will appreciate the extensive grounds, which include manicured lawns and mature shrubs and trees. Listen to birdsong and spot the wildlife from the seating on the patio or the bench on the lawn, and on a warm night you can settle down under the stars and watch a movie on the garden projection screen. For cyclists, there’s secure bike storage, too. Wild moorlands right on your doorstep offer wonderful walks, and the Peak District itself is just 3 miles away - explore the gentle landscapes of the White Peak and the rugged hilltops of the Dark Peak, whether you prefer a gentle stroll, a challenging hike or a biking trail. For a family day out, Peak Wildlife Park is less than 5 miles away.
