Explore the outstanding surrounding countryside, and walk down to the little sandy cove called Grunta Beach, a mile downhill from this retreat. This area is a surfers paradise with Woolacombe just over a mile away, known to be one of the best surfing beaches in the world and offering 3 miles of golden sands and sand dunes. It’s an ideal place for relaxing on the sand, sea swimming or any water sports. Stroll around the local shops, cafes and restaurants or enjoy the great British fish and chips on the beach while watching stunning sunsets. Walkers will be spoilt for choice with the South West Coast Path on your doorstep or venture a bit further (14 miles) to Exmoor National Park and visit Lynton and Lynmouth, nicknamed Little Switzerland and enjoy a ride on the funicular cliff railway.

Steps lead to the lovely family bathroom, and another set of steps continue up to the first of the five bedrooms with a king-size bed, en-suite shower room with spectacular sea views.
