Set in a beautiful Cotswold village, and overlooking a river, this charming four-bedroom home makes for an idyllic rural retreat. This is the place to come if you love inspiring scenery, and it’s a great holiday destination for a group of eight friends plus two hounds. Traditional features, swathes of natural light, and contemporary decor make this a welcoming and stylish place. The open-plan living area is the main hub of the house and is situated on the third floor. It’s a relaxing space with huge plump sofas, large windows and soft furnishings. There’s plenty of room here to chat, read a book, or watch a film on the Smart TV while on chillier nights you can unwind in front of the wood burner. The fully equipped kitchen overlooks the lounge and features a neat dining table so you can linger over a hearty meal while soaking up the tranquil countryside views. Alternatively, if you’re not in the mood to cook, the local pub is a short stroll away (0.5 miles). After you’ve eaten, be sure to open the kitchen doors, step out into the garden and enjoy some stargazing. When bedtime beckons, you’ll find two bedrooms off from the lounge on the third floor (a queen-size and a double), a further double bedroom on the second floor, and a spacious double bedroom on the ground floor.
