Located in the picturesque historic village of Alnmouth with its stunning sandy beach that stretches for miles, you ll be in an excellent spot for leisurely walks, picnics and enjoying the coastal scenery. The village also boasts an excellent range of quality eateries, friendly inns, quirky shops and an array of yearly events to enjoy. Explore the Aln Estuary, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a haven for wildlife. If you are a golf enthusiast, the village golf club is a must visit, with stunning views across the coastline and a challenging course. The bustling medieval town of Alnwick is only 5 miles away, with its excellent amenities and leisure facilities and the magnificent Alnwick Castle and Garden to explore. This delightful former post office spans three floors with an array of quirky period features, including original wood beams and exposed stone walls. Step inside and into the light and bright spacious lounge. Relax on the comfortable sofas after a day out exploring this AONB on the North Northumberland Heritage Coast and enjoy a movie on the Smart TV with the roaring wood burner lighting up the room on those cooler evenings. Next is the dining room with a large period table and chairs, with ample seating for family gatherings. The well equipped kitchen is the perfect space to cook up a storm with direct access out to the enclosed patio, followed by a utility room and a handy WC. Head through to the hall and down a flight of steps to the cellar games room with its full sized table tennis that all the family to enjoy. On the first floor, there is a bathroom. Continue up the period staircase to the second floor, where you will find five wonderful bedrooms, a king size with en suite shower room, another king size bedroom, and a king size and a twin bedroom that share a Jack and Jill shower room. Finally, completing the fantastic accommodation is a spacious king size bedroom with two additional single beds, a cot and an en suite shower room. Venturing outside, there is an enclosed yard with a picnic table for morning coffee. There is also secure storage for bikes and outdoor gear.
