By contrast, Bristol is a bustling city with a rich heritage and a huge array of activities to do, including museums, galleries, shopping, and sports. Make sure to visit Somerset's coolest town, Clevedon (6.4 miles) with its eclectic mix of vibrant boutique shops, pretty pier, and fantastic restaurants. Head to Cheddar (11.2 miles) for some breathtaking and specular views of the gorge and caves nestled within the Mendip Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
