This lovely cottage is in the charming market town of Ludlow in Shropshire. Ludlow is a popular destination for holidaymakers looking for a relaxing and picturesque getaway. The town centre (1 mile) is well known for its gourmet food and drink with some fantastic eateries and pubs that all champion local ingredients. Ludlow has a rich history that is reflected in the stunning architecture and is home to over 500 listed buildings. Enjoy a stroll through the ancient town centre and be sure to visit the stunning medieval castle. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and provides many opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling and fishing. The cottage is within easy reach of many other popular destinations including the UNESCO heritage site at Ironbridge (25 miles) and the traditional market town of Bridgnorth (18 miles) with the country’s oldest and steepest funicular railway or explore the National Trust’s Berrington Park (9 miles) and Croft Castle (10 miles).


After a busy day exploring the town, head back to your wonderful retreat and head straight into the homely lounge. This is a fantastic space to enjoy a drink or some food alfresco with views across to the local church. To the rear of the property is a useful shed which is used as the utility room with access to a washer/dryer and full size fridge/freezer, perfect for those longer stays in Ludlow. The cottage is on a row and there is on street parking at either end at no charge, but is subject to availability.
